Wednesday hit the screens on November 23, 2022. It was a worldwide success for Netflix.
The 8 episodes in the first series followed Wednesday's first year at Nevermore Academy.

When is Wednesday Season 2 being released?
In January 2023, Netflix announced that there will be a Season 2 of Wednesday.
Filming will commence in late April 2024. The first series was filmed in Romania but due to logistic issues Season 2 will be filmed in Ireland.
Given Wednesday's status as a priority series for Netflix post-strikes, there's a possibility that new episodes may grace our screens by the end of 2024.
